Had a fantastic 26&2 virtual class with Meagan on Feb 18. I was Meagan's only student so it was my own private one to one really. Meagan really pushed me and took me out of my comfort zone, we had a laugh to! Thanks so much Meagan!
I started practicing yoga about 15 years ago in my apartment
with a CD labeled “Bikrams Beginning Series”. My first thought was
“this isn't yoga, where's the calm voice and the chanting and
second why is this man telling me to 'lock my knee' every 10
seconds.”
To say the least I was hooked.
The traditional 26 postures and two breathing exercises became the path to the rest of my life. I found balance where there was none, strength, purpose, healing and most of all love.
Balancing the yin and yang of my practice is my focus these days along with teaching both the traditional hot sequence and the Yin.
I'm so thrilled to have the opportunity to teach at a studio that is so dear to my heart. Looking forward to seeing all you lovely yogis soon.
