I began practicing yoga at Calgary Hot Yoga in Oct 2007. I had tried yoga a couple of times before that but it wasn't until CHY that I really felt a connection both to my practice and to a studio. Yoga helped me get through a very difficult time emotionally, physically and spiritually and I know I would be a very different person today without it. I began to teach in 2009 and can honestly say it's become a passion. When I'm at the studio, teaching or practicing, that is when I feel the most grounded and alive.
I took over CHY in October 2011 and started another chapter in my yoga adventure. Running a studio comes with it's own set of joys and challenges and I'm loving them all!
