As someone who is use to power flow at the Barn I was nervous I would find it hard to slow down and hold a posse for 5 min.
But in my busy up turned schedule this is just what I needed!
I have never felt the effects of shavasana so much.
Thank you for helping me slow down!
Jenny Sinclair was born and raised in the Annapolis Valley. She grew up just down the road from her present home now with her husband Mike and her four boys. Her interest in yoga began to grow with each of her four pregnancies. Jenny was always an active runner and loved fitness. As she grew bigger during her pregnancies, she sought out a more gentle side for keeping fit and healthy. Yoga seemed to be everything she had been looking for and more. Over time her love for yoga grew even more so that she decided it was time to share it with others. Jenny has her 500 hour professional level training in teaching Hatha yoga. This includes 200 hours at the foundation level and an additional 300 hours at the advanced level. She is also a certified in teaching Yin yoga, Prenatal and Yoga Nidra. Jenny opened The Yoga Barn in March of 2014 , bringing to the studio now over 12 years of teaching experience now. In the past, Jenny's passion tended to lean towards the power that yoga could bring to one’s practice and life. But always found herself in need of the more calming and grounding aspects of Yin Yoga. She now thrives on a balanced yoga practice on and off her mat. Jenny tries to incorporate yoga into her daily life and relationships.
