I thoroughly enjoy this experience! The calming cues and feedback kept me going and motivated. I felt challenged and mindful simultaneously. I do not practice yoga regularly and after my experience today I am motivate to tap into the practice more. Thank you Victory Power Yoga and Yuri with Core movement for our hybrid class via zoom today!
Victoria offers an all-levels empowering experience of power Vinyasa yoga inspired by Baptiste Power Vinyasa Yoga. She used to play competitive juniors tennis and loves the challenge and mental clarity that power yoga offers. She even taught kids tennis before teaching yoga! She encourages students to step out of limiting beliefs and trust the process. Each class offers both physical and spiritual inspiration, encouraging students to bring the possibility they create in class to all areas of life.
Yoga has been Victoria’s tool to access a better knowing and trusting of herself. Yoga has helped her dissolve limiting beliefs to be of service for others, and so she opened Victory Power Yoga in February 2018 to help others live out loud and accomplish big goals.
Victoria enjoys good beer, live music, enlightening conversations, mind-bending TV shows like Westworld, and reading. Victoria’s bucket list includes backpacking in California, following her husband’s band on a tour, traveling the world, and her childhood dream is becoming a philanthropist. She lives in Clayton with her husband, Matt and Corman Shepherd, Ellie.
Victoria completed her RYT-200 with Dancing Dogs Yoga in 2015. She has completed yoga training with the Baptiste Yoga Institute at Level 1 (2016), Level 2 (2017), The Art Of Assisting (2017), and 40 Days to Personal Revolution Facilitator Training (2018). She is a Tier 1 Certified Leader with the Baptiste Yoga Institute. She completed her “experienced ERYT-200” certification in 2018, by teaching over 1000 hours of power yoga classes. She is also pursuing her RYT-500 with Dancing Dogs Yoga.
