I found yoga in 2015, searching for a welcoming form of
physical activity and finding so much more in the practice. I
followed along to videos in my dorm room in Gettysburg College, PA
for months before I felt confident enough to attend a studio class.
There, I was so so uplifted by the spiritual energy flowing between
all the yogis practicing in unity with one another, and yoga began
to really transform my life holistically as I read the sutras and
some of Thich Nhat Hanh's works on meditation. I completed my
teacher training at Asheville Yoga Center, NC in 2018.
Today, my practice is a way for me to become and remain
centered through the vacillating sea of emotions and events of
life. It is also the way to challenge myself - to let go of what no
longer serves me, to open my heart to divine love, to try for that
intense asana - in the safe space of the mat and studio
I've come to Columbus from San Antonio, TX and am so grateful
to have found the welcoming River Flow Yoga community to call my
yoga home. Classes with me will be fun and uplifting as we work to
shed old stories and welcome positive vibes to our auras in
connection with one another.
