I Tried many places and did not find anything close to Jacobs's Hot yoga class. People are warm and welcoming! I highly recommend it!
Ruka’s first encounter with yoga was during a kids yoga class at
her primary school in Malaysia. However, it was not until 2015 that
she attended her very first in-studio class at Hot Yoga Wellness
Concord – a place which soon became her “home away from home”. In
hopes to share the benefits of yoga, she completed her 250 hour
teacher training in 2016 and continues to build upon her
foundational training to deepen her knowledge.
With training in Trauma-Sensitive Yoga, she works on offering a
safer and welcoming space that fosters self-awareness,
self-discovery and self-love. Her teaching style is slow but
strong, focusing on the awareness of the mind-body-breath
connection. Off the mat, Ruka is a Master of Social Work student
who loves her plants and soy lattes!
