I began my journey with a vinyasa class with Claire. Her vinyasa class has helped me to focus my mind and body, staying present in the moment and submerge in the language of yoga. I enjoy being in the studio or a zoom class. But, being in the studio helps to unwind and destress.
Sometimes a light shines through a crack in the darkness. This is how Abbey came to yoga. After enduring betrayal, profound loss and illness, Abbey found happiness in her life. She met her husband, a native of Danville, Indiana, and moved from her home in Illinois to this charming community where Peace through Yoga has been established since 2015. Abbey had never practiced yoga in a studio despite being an active person. It took some time before she found the courage to enroll in a class and she hasn't looked back since. Abbey identifies completing Peace through Yoga's 200-hour teacher training program as one of the best decisions she has made. Yoga improved so many aspects of her life, not only physically, but also mentally and spiritually. Now she is passionate about helping people of all ages cultivate a love for yoga so they may benefit from all that yoga can offer them in life.
