Today was the first yoga practice I attended since COVID started. I was reluctant to return to the physical class but I found it to be very safe. The class attendees were respectful of the rules and the instructor Caroline Wattier explained the regulations very well. All in all it was a great class and it was good to get back to a feeling of well being!

Romana
Romana Rice retired in October 2018 after a 35-year career in the Cdn Armed Forces. Her yoga journey began in 2009 when she incorporated yoga into her personal training regime to help cope with mental health stressors. This led her to taking her yoga teacher trg in 2015 at HYER, and she has been teaching various classes here ever since. She has continued taking numerous yoga trainings and is now also certified to teach Yin/Restorative yoga, completed a 100hr certification program in Trauma Sensitive Yoga and is working towards completing her 800 hr Yoga Therapist certification program. She is also a certified Spin instructor who enjoys fair weather cycling and is a proud Babi (grandma in Czech) to three blessed young grandsons.
