With a working definition of yoga as moving meditation and a mindfulness practice, Anders emphasizes the mind-body connection, present moment awareness and curiosity in his teaching. He went through yoga teacher training in Scott Anderson's Alignment Yoga in 2018 and has been teaching part time since then. After nearly 20 years working in the healthcare field in quality improvement roles, he now works as leadership coach and facilitator with an emphasis on wellbeing, burnout and compassion fatigue. Usually, he's in the middle of a book on yoga, neuroscience, meditation or burnout, with a growing appreciation for the deep history and wisdom of yoga, and noting with delight the increasing scientific evidence in support of yoga, mindfulness and meditation practices.
