Karen began her yoga journey practicing Ashtanga yoga in 2009. Moving to Eugene in 2014 she sought out an active practice focused on core engagement, breath, and alignment. She completed her 200-hour teacher training at Mudra Yoga Eugene in 2019.
Karen brings strength, exploration, and joy to her teaching. She is committed to yoga as a practice journey, free of judgment. Her goal is for people to experience yoga through their own unique lens. Karen believes that guided by the breath, grounded by posture work, uplifted by self-love/ compassion, and supported in exploration, each practitioner can leave their mat uplifted, and lighter from released stress.
