“Best part of waking up, Folgers in your cup.” this little add jingle was bouncing in my head for a flight-ting moment, as Gam called sequential moves that brought more to the body and soul than a cup of Folgers could provide. Monday Morning Yoga with Gam did live up to “Our morning yoga classes can be a wonderful way to start your day!” Thankful for a Federal Holiday and a wonderful way to start the day and week all in one class. Jennifer began practicing yoga in the mid 90's as a student athlete in college. After graduation, she worked as a personal trainer and in K-12 education in a town with no yoga classes. In 2001, she moved to Fayetteville and found Embrace Yoga Studio. Her love of yoga grew to include various styles of yoga, meditation and mindful movement and in 2012, she got her first certification to teach. In 2014, she completed her RYT-200 certification and has earned her YACEP designation. Jennifer is a Reiki Level 2 practitioner and has completed training in Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction with Jon Kabat Zinn. Since then, she has worked to help each of her students feel cared for, safe, empowered and inspired to find what they love about yoga. She keeps busy off the mat with her husband, four kids, menagerie of pets and her running club.
