Kerry
Kerry is a Certified Iyengar Yoga Teacher (CIYT) at the Intermediate Junior I Level and a Certified Yoga Therapist (C-IAYT). She was first drawn to yoga while living on an island in Washington in her mid-twenties and appreciated the sense of calm and ease that came from her practice. Since that time and many years and transitions later – moving, career, graduate school, family – yoga has provided a stabilizing element in her life. Kerry discovered Iyengar yoga over 15 years ago and fell in love with its depth and richness as a student and a teacher. In addition to studying regularly with mentor teachers, Peentz Dubble and Patricia Walden, Kerry traveled to India in 2015 and again in 2019 to study directly with the Iyengar family and senior teachers at the Iyengar Institute in Pune, India.

She is known for clarity and precision in teaching balanced with a playful approach. Kerry enjoys teaching group classes and working individually with students to alleviate back, hip, knee or other issues. She seeks to inspire each student to go deeper into the understanding of Iyengar yoga.
