Duane
Duane views yoga as a practice of sharing humanity with others and most importantly with ourselves. An inclusive and body-positive practice is paramount to his views on sharing wellness; they are essential components to his yoga classes as nurturing environments of self discovery, growth and spiritual peace.

Originally trained in Kashmir, he is a dedicated high school teacher with an intrinsic passion for spreading wellness and mindfulness to all. Duane first began to explore yoga by founding a “Meditation Club” at the age of 16 in Queens, NY and has since completed training in Hatha and Vinyasa traditions both in India and in New York City.
 
He works as an educator and eternal student now bringing yoga to inner city youth and communities of educators, as well as to classes of experienced yogis and new students who desire a greater connection between mind, body and spirit.
