I have been enjoying Yin + Restrative + Yoga Nidra instructed by Mi Han every Saturday morning. Attending her class has become essential to me as it renews, heals and repairs me mentally and physically. Mi Han provides clear, sensible and detailed instructions that I always appreciate.
Mariko’s yoga practice started when she walked in Living Yoga
in May 2009. After she took her first vinyasa group class at Living
Yoga, she felt like her body and mind remembered what they were
missing — she felt calmer, stronger, and energized in a way she had
never experienced. Since then, she hasn’t looked back and kept
practicing yoga. She was naturally drawn to take the 200-hour
teacher training with Rei Farid and Miles Borrero at Living Yoga in
2014.
In late 2014, she started to have a recurring health issue
that prevented her from practicing asana for over 2 years. During
that time, she started to explore the quiet sides of the yoga
practice, such as Yin, Restorative and Yoga Nidra, which have
allowed her to excavate a much deeper level of physical and
spiritual awareness than ever before. While she keeps strengthening
her asana practice, she is passionate about introducing meditative
and therapeutic aspects of yoga that are accessible to every
body.
