Barbara Bloom has been practicing various forms of Yoga for the past 25 years. She began teaching seated yoga three years ago. Her classes are advantageous to people of all ages and all fitness levels. Her seated yoga sessions are especially helpful to people who have trouble with standing poses due to poor balance, painful feet, or general fatigue. Her hour-long classes feature plenty of stretching, relaxation and a bit of strength promotion. She also incorporates 10 minutes of Face Yoga near the end of each class, which helps tighten the muscles in the face. These are exercises which lessen sagging and wrinkles that come with age.
