I was not sure what to expect from this class except that Anna was going to teach me something new. She is such a good teacher and has a great delivery. We were doing breathing exercises laying down so all of the cueing was verbal. Anna's voice guided us gently though the class, and she encouraged us to me mindful and kind to ourselves. This was one of the most nourishing and enjoyable hours I've spent since Covid. This really was the next best thing to being with her in person.
If you have any interest in the healthful benefits of mindful breathing, I really recommend this class.
Liza is a pediatric occupational therapist whose yoga journey began many years ago in her birthplace of South Africa. She moved to NC 27 years ago and has practiced at Purple Blossom Yoga Studio since it opened 10 years ago. In 2019, Liza completed her YTT-200 in 2019 at Purple Blossom through Longwave Yoga. She enjoys teaching vinyasa classes as well as yin yoga, restorative yoga and has taught chair yoga too. She loves to spend time with her family, travel, cook, work out, and read. Liza is thrilled to combine her passions of development, movement, and growth when she teaches yoga, connecting mind, body, and soul. We are forever students, so as life’s journey unfolds, she hopes to continue expanding her yoga knowledge and practice.
