I was not sure what to expect from this class except that Anna was going to teach me something new. She is such a good teacher and has a great delivery. We were doing breathing exercises laying down so all of the cueing was verbal. Anna's voice guided us gently though the class, and she encouraged us to me mindful and kind to ourselves. This was one of the most nourishing and enjoyable hours I've spent since Covid. This really was the next best thing to being with her in person.
If you have any interest in the healthful benefits of mindful breathing, I really recommend this class.

My name is Tracey. I was born and raised in Honolulu, Hawai’i. Military life brought me to North Carolina. I am a mom of three with a dog and two ferrets. I homeschool all three of my children. I graduated from Liberty University Seminary School and obtained my license as a minister. I have taught special needs with Pitt County Schools and recently obtained my Yoga Alliance Certification in March of 2022.

 

Teaching yoga was something I thought I would never do honestly. It was originally recommended for me to take as a therapeutic measure for disorders which include having ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder). It has helped me a lot with my mental health, self-acceptance, struggling with PTSD, and really just over all health and well-being. I really would just love to share how yoga has helped me in so many ways and really how it has helped save my life. And continues to do so.
