I came to yoga as a means to physically recover from running.
Soon after, I fell in love with the practice and wanted to learn
all I could. An opportunity for yoga teacher training arose, and I
took that chance to deepen my own physical and spiritual
In 2016, I completed my 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training at
Tribal Yoga in Hampton, VA. For me, yoga started out as a coping
mechanism for physical pain, but it turned into friendships,
community, encouragement, and a way of life.
I am inspired by yoga teachers who recognize that each body is
different and that we are all capable of amazing things. I believe
consistent practice and incorporating lifelong learning are the
keys to getting the greatest benefit out of a yoga practice. I love
to compose complex flows that challenge students’ balance,
strength, and flexibility, both physically and emotionally.
