Rachel has been practicing yoga for over 20 years. She earned her Registered Yoga Teacher certification at the 200-hour level in 2015 with the original intent of strengthening her own practice. She found she couldn't resist sharing her love of yoga and started teaching in the Fall of 2015. Since then, she's deepened her practice with continuing education in meditation and mindfulness, yin, slow flow, restorative yoga, and more. She completed her 500-hour certification through Asheville Yoga Center in 2020.

Rachel is also a certified health coach and is currently pursuing her fitness nutrition specialist certification. When she's not on her mat or meal prepping, she can usually be found on one of many outdoor adventures, whether it’s walking her dogs, hiking, camping, or kayaking.

She loves running and has completed a handful of half and full marathons as well as a couple of 50k's. She considers her yoga practice an essential part of her running regimen and credits it with improving her recovery times and allowing her to explore and expand her limits.
