I especially enjoy the morning Yoga and Meditation classes with Suzanne. These classes are a great way to wake up my body, relieve muscle stiffness, center my mind and generally ease into the day. Suzanne is a superb communicator and I appreciate how she talks us through whatever we are working on each day. I also appreciate her attention to basic posture that has helped me become more aware of and improve my own posture.
Lisa is certified in Body Balance Yoga and studied with the founder and director, Jenny Otto, from 2010 to 2015. She is a certified Child Light Yoga instructor and finds immense joy in weaving songs and storytelling into an asana practice.
Lisa previously taught yoga at Body Balance Yoga School, Willow Street Yoga, Eastern Village Cohousing and LAMB Charter School. A life long lover of parks and shared green spaces she enjoys practicing Vrksasana on a tree root as much as on her mat. Lisa recently moved back to Harrisonburg with her husband and two year old son.
