After retiring in 2015 from 35 years of practicing dentistry,
Bill knew he needed a new workout routine to help restore his worn
out back. With the encouragement of friends, he started taking yoga
classes at The Center with the modest goal of being able to touch
his toes again. The progress was slow and not always steady, but
with persistence he started noticing the positive changes in his
body. To more fully explore the benefits of yoga, he completed The
Center School of Yoga 200-hour teacher training course. Now, he
hopes to share some of the practices that have helped him on his
journey to better health and also to support the fellow seekers in
the yoga community at The Center.
Besides yoga Bill enjoys hiking, camping, and playing bluegrass
music with his wife Lucy and friends.
