I participated in the Yoga I class with Rachel. I really enjoyed the calm gentle moments. Rachel made me feel very comfortable and encouraged the class to go at our own pace. I highly recommend signing up for a class.
I have been practicing yoga since 2006 and teaching in Taiwan since 2007. I had my Anusara RYT200 with Patrick Creelman.
Now I am pursuing 500hr with Jason Crandell. I believe through basic, consistent repetition, practice can help us understand our bodies and use them in a positive way in our lives - one conscious way to pursue a healthy life. I also think building leg strength can help us to connect to our pelvis and torso, so I always emphasize legs in my class.
I moved to Harrisonburg in 2018 from Taiwan with my family. I like to read books that relate to philosophy or psychology, sometimes I write, and I also enjoy cooking.
