Have you ever marveled at the ability of some people to make seemingly activeor difficult activities actually quite meditative? (How DO they do that?!) Or theability of some people to read multiple books at once? (Crikie!) Meet Shannon…one of “some people”. Shannon maintains a more traditional meditation practice,but she also finds a meditative rhythm in flowing vinyasa classes and again onthe other end of the spectrum in the fixed postures of the hot series. Turning thepages of a book can also have a measured, meditative quality to it, and Shannonhas to have at least three or four books going at once. As with yoga, her literaryinterests cover the genre spectrum. But what pulls her away from her mat andstacks of books? Her husband and oh-so-loved dog, calling her to enjoy the GreatOutdoors.
