Great friendly and welcoming studio. Classes are really great and not intimidating. Love the vibe here!
Ashley’s love for yoga & holistic arts started in 2009 with a desire to start meditating. Ashley feels yoga has given her the tools for self-discovery, personal growth, acceptance, & mostly a connection to a more conscious way of living. Ashley strives for a more therapeutic approach when teaching yoga; she designs her classes with alignment techniques to help enhance poses. She uses props to make the seemingly undoable completely accessible for all. Ashley specializes in Intro to yoga courses and works well with modifications and hands on adjustments for those who may have physical limitations. She loves to share yogic philosophy and reminds her students to stay connected with their breath, tune into their bodies, and reconnect with their heart; ultimately to find our true self. Ashley believes we reveal our truest selves in our practice, which gives us the ability to self-reflect and ask those deeper underlining questions about who we are and who we want to be in the world. With this she has discovered a more conscious way of living by noticing how we impact the world around us and invites her students to step into their greatness. Ashley is the co-founder of Kaya Yoga Remedy in Huntington Beach where she continuously runs 200 hour yoga teacher trainings, advanced teacher development courses, and other various workshops. Ashley also enjoys teaching classes on how reduce ones toxic load with the use of essential oils to help facilitate healing. Ashley graduated from the National Holistic Institute, where she gained extensive studies on the human body in both traditional eastern and western medicine and is a certified Health Educator and Massage therapist. She currently specializes in therapeutic deep tissue, energy healing, proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation, and cupping therapy. When she’s off the mat; Ashley enjoys connecting with nature, traveling, snuggling with her pups, gardening, crafting, and sharing holistic health and wellness tips. She is a holistic educator, inspiring people to find a more natural approach to caring for themselves and their families.
