Sarah attended her first yoga class in 2010 and immediately fell in love. Her yoga practice became not only a time to slow down to escape from busy day to day life, but over time healed her injured back and became a treatment for her anxiety. This is when Sarah realized how powerful yoga can be and decided to become a teacher to share this with others. Sarah completed her yoga teacher training through CorePower Yoga in Denver in 2014. Sarah's teaching style is based around gentle flows while incorporating postures to promote optimal spinal alignment for optimal breath work. Her classes generally begin with breath work, slowly progress towards a more challenging series of postures or a peak posture, and end with postures with prolonged holds. Sarah also enjoys incorporating yoga philosophy into her themes in class. Sarah recently moved back to Indianapolis and is excited to become a part of the yoga community here.
