As with most things, once Kelsey found yoga, she was on the fast track to make it an integral part of her life. She began practicing regularly in February of 2012 and, at the recommendation of two of her teachers, was in teacher training within a year. After managing a couple local yoga studios, Kelsey felt frustrated that the pricing structure of yoga didn’t match its “for-all” philosophy. By summer of 2014, she was crafting Indy’s first pay-what-you-can studio and opened Breathing Space a couple months later. Kelsey's teaching style is accessible to all with a focus on introspection and growth; in her classes, you will experience chanting, few to no vinyasa flows, lots of modifications for every level yogi - from beginner to longtime avid practitioner and the opportunity for you to push beyond fears and try strength-based arm balances and inversions. After regular attendance in her classes and with your permission, Kelsey offers physical adjustments and support.
