Went to Ju Min's Thursday class and it was exactly what I needed. She's a very knowledgeable teacher and I felt challenged in a great way. I'm already looking forward to going to class again next Thursday.
Valerie was introduced to yoga in 2013 after earning
certification as a personal trainer. For her, Yoga was a natural
supplement to weight lifting that she pursued in order to stay
flexible and avoid injury. During the following years she realized
that there was even more to yoga and wanted to share it with her
clients. Yoga has helped Valerie to maintain physical strength,
increase flexibility, soothe her emotions, and become comfortable
in her own skin. Her teaching style is a basic approach to yogic
breathing exercises and postures at a slow to medium pace with
light accompanying music. She enjoys sharing in your achievements,
whether it means touching your toes for the first time in years,
balancing with proper form in a challenging new pose, or simply
transforming from a chaotic to calm state of mind during a yoga
session. If successful, every participant in her class would know
that they are wanted, welcome, and accepted. It is Valerie’s hope
to help others achieve their goals with the same compassion and
positive reinforcement she received. With the support of her family
and guidance from Johns Creek Yoga, she completed the 200 YTT
training in 2017.
