Stacey is a licensed professional counselor; she is extensively trained in multiple psychotherapy approaches for the treatment of trauma and PTSD. She is fascinated with the study of the embodiment of trauma and stress. She became RYT200 certified so that she could offer both regular and trauma sensitive yoga as an adjunctive treatment for her clients. Stacey took her first yoga class to help her regulate her own nervous system in her 20’s after experiencing a traumatic event. Movement through yoga and exercise have been a mainstay of her own mental health. Stacey will meet you where you are, with profound respect she will guide you at your own pace. Psychological safety is foundational to her practice as a teacher. Stacey offers individual yoga classes, and workshops specifically for those wanting to integrate body work to achieve psychological and physical wellbeing.
