I’ve gone twice so far under the the student introductory special. This place is pretty great. ! Love the kind, cheerful and hip vibe.
Jordan spent much of her teens self-conscious which fueled her over exercising, and disordered eating lasting into her early twenties. In 2013, while scrolling mindlessly through Buzzfeed she stumbled across a list of beginner’s yoga poses. That's when her yoga journey slowly began as a desire to stop mistreating her body surfaced. Routinely practicing the poses from the beginner’s list lead to seeking out full online classes then finally attending her first in-studio class in 2015.
As yoga seeped into her life more, she was able to learn the true power and capability of her body, if treated nicely and properly cared for. Gaining a better understanding of how truly strong her body is lead Jordan to realizing there must be more depth to her mental strength as well, launching her deeper in to search for knowledge on her yogic path.
Jordan graduated from Karma Tribe’s 2019 200 Hour YTT. She hopes to guide others to realize their potential and to learn to love themselves while molding their bodies into these powerful shapes. She hopes to offer people a moment of peace and introspection during class that resonates within them throughout their daily life.
If she's not practicing asana, it's likely you'll find Jordan at the plant-based cafe she owns with her partner or lounging on the couch with her cat, Mac.
