Marcelo Hamui is a world renowned teacher who’s work is celebrated internationally from India, to Costa Rica, Hawaii, Peru, Argentina and more! His interest in yoga was sparked in 2003 by his Mom who gifted him his first yoga retreat in Bimini, Bahamas. During that time his experience catalyzed his interest in yoga beyond his wildest imaginations and deeper in a spiritual sense.

In 2005 he received his first 200 hr teacher training in Hatha and Vinyasa after training in heated rooms for 2 years. He continued to teach and practice regularly advancing his personal practice with the goal of becoming a professional teacher by the age of 21.

In 2008 he Enrolled into the University of Central Florida in Orlando with big dreams and hopes of teaching yoga to the masses. A year later he landed his dream job of yoga teacher at the university by the age of 19.

In 2012 he enrolled in a second teachers training with the Anuttara School and learned the lineage, history and Sanskrit language of yoga. His passion for the practice continues to grow. In 2013 he studied under Dharma Mittra’s teachings which multiplied his wisdom and knowledge of yoga.

After graduating from UCF in 2013 with President’s Honors and Full-Ride scholarships in Fine Arts of Drawing, painting, and ceramics he explored the country traveling abroad to teach and learn more about yoga & the arts. Traveling by car and teaching in several national parks & festivals across the USA, he finally landed on Orcas island for two years where he taught yoga regularly at the Doe Bay retreat center.

Since then he has expanded his approach to the practice and its possibilities. He currently hosts yoga retreats & adventures internationally in pinnacle paradise locations such as South Africa. He frequently teaches work shops and specializes in physical detoxing, healing, nutrition, and personal growth (physical & spiritual).
