Shakira’s song “My Hips Don’t lie” is so true for me today. My hips were very sore after carrying my grandson around for two days. Frankie’s therapeutic yoga class was best medicine for my body. Class was challenging but in a good way. My hips are happy again, unfortunately not even a Frankie can make me dance like Shakira

Like many, I came to Yoga for the physical experience and hoping to find a solution for chronic low back pain. I quickly discovered Yoga was giving me so much more. I've been practicing Yoga for 15yrs and teaching for over 6yrs. My teaching style utilizes many of the Iyengar principles of proper alignment and breath, using props when needed to explore the poses. Each class is different and designed to provide a full body workout for greater flexibility and strength, but with a specific focus or theme each time.
My personal experience with Yoga has allowed me to live virtually pain free. I feel stronger, more flexible and have more energy as a result. But beyond the physical benefits, Yoga has taught me to slow down, pay attention, and be present. The sense of calm and focus I get during my practice is carried through to the rest of my day and is what continues to draw me back to my mat.
