Amy Vetter created DRISHTIQ Yoga to provide a community where everyone that attends finds their own personal fulfillment, whatever that may be. She has a powerful teaching style that reflects her background practicing Vinyasa, Hot Yoga, Bikram and Ashtanga. She began practicing yoga as a form of exercise but very quickly found it to be more than fitness, but a way to balance her career and family life. Amy originally started practicing yoga after getting sick from her second pregnancy and was unable to do her normal aerobic and competitive exercises. She quickly found that yoga provided her many more benefits than she had originally expected and strived to learn more about the practice.
Amy moved to South Florida after getting married for 13 years where she eventually achieved the 200 Hour Yogafox Vinyasa School of Yoga certificate in Delray Beach, FL and became a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT) 200. Amy and her family moved back to Ohio in 2012 to be closer to their extended family and soon after had the opportunity to open a yoga studio in Mason, OH. Besides yoga, she maintains a physically active lifestyle which includes running, swimming and taking aerobics and weight training classes. She also is fortunate enough to practice yoga with her husband and 2 children and share the love of yoga together.
In addition to being a Yoga Instructor, Amy is a CPA and National Speaker. Amy has participated in yoga classes and workshops all over Florida, as well as, Yoga studios at different venues around the United States when travelling for speaking engagements. These experiences at yoga studios around the US enhance her practice, in addition to always providing something new to integrate into the classes she teaches. Amy strongly believes in the benefits of yoga and is passionate about how it can help people in their daily lives which comes through her in classes. She loves providing a challenging class with fun music and contributing to the growth of the participants in her classes.
