I have never done yoga before. I have been attending classes at Moab Yoga for about three weeks now and do enjoy it. The instructors are experienced and patient and welcoming. The facility is great. I still struggle with knowing the basic poses. I wish there was a class, even periodically, for true beginners.
Angela began practicing yoga in 2002 as a tool to treat back pain. She was initially attracted to the more therapeutic and gentle side of yoga. In 2005, she took a 100 hour Anusara Immersion program with Sianna Sherman. Over the next few years her yoga training continued with a 40 hour Anusara Therapeutics course with John Friend and an Anusara Level 1 Teacher Training with Amy Ippoliti.
In more recent years, Angela has deepened her personal practice with the support of our local teachers, a home practice and workshops with teachers she admires.
Angela moved to Moab for the mountain biking and stayed because of the amazing community. She is a mother and the owner of Moab Yoga.
