Julie Harris began studying yoga with Vishali Varga in 2001 and completed her 200-hour yoga training at Yoga Montclair in 2006. Her teaching supports students’ awareness of the guiding intelligence of their bodies, minds, and hearts through the dynamic movement of asana and the stillness of meditation. As one of her regular students says: “Julie is bright, articulate, and as knowledgeable about life as she is about yoga and its many teachings. Her approach helps me to feel grounded and centered.”
When not on the yoga mat, Julie runs Riverbend Coaching, helping big-picture thinkers create the grounding, focus, and connection to bring their ideas powerfully into the world. Her work is informed by a wide range of Eastern and Western wisdom encompassing art, business, yoga, somatics, psychology, philosophy, language, and spirituality.
