Erika has been an international yoga practitioner since she was living in Brazil in 2007. She practiced traditional Ashtanga Vinyasa, primary and second series, for over seven years. Her practice evolved to be more balance and grounded when she started doing trainings with Matthey Sweeney in Bali, Indonesia in 2014. It was in that beautiful place where she did her 900hr TT and was certified to teach Ashtanga, Vinyasa Krama and Pranayama.
Her classes are a holistic experience that include: a dynamic sequence tailored to the needs of students with the breath centered as the lead of movement, a healthy asana approach based on the anatomy alignment, pranamaya, meditation, essential oils and healing sounds during savasana. She enjoys teaching The Moon Sequence –grounding and gentle- and Vinyasa Krama Flow -vigorous and challenging-.
Erika loves to share her passion for yoga, finding the right asana sequences and variations for individuals, and to help others to incorporate yoga in their daily life. She also loves purple, plants, dance and interiors design.
