Very thankful I finally checked out Barefoot Yoga in Park Circle. The minute you walk in you are invited up the stairs into a comforting and warm space. I felt immediately at home. The classes are small and intimate, which is exactly what I look for in yoga classes in hopes of hands on corrections. I have tried out 3 different types of classes here and enjoyed each of them. If you’re looking for more intensive body work I strongly suggest doing a Thai body work session with Marie. She is highly intuitive and incredibly knowledgeable. I look forward to becoming a regular at Barefoot!
Hello fellow yogi’s! I’m Molly, I moved to the Charleston area from New Hampshire, where I studied the philosophy and history of yoga. I have been practicing yoga since high school, and branched out from vinyasa yoga in college, expanding my practice to restorative, ashtanga, kundalini, dharma, yin, and really all the types of yoga I could get my hands on! I moved briefly to France and studied individually with my teacher Marie, who taught me pranayama and meditation. After almost 9 years of practice I decided to further my love of yoga through teacher training which allowed me to learn about the history and philosophies behind this practice I love so much. I’m so excited to share this practice that has changed my life for the better!
