In a beautiful, high-ceilinged studio, Trish guided us through a moving meditation that took me outside of time. Simple, direct cueing and loving hands-on adjustments gave me a powerful sense that my needs were known. After a practice that proved my own strength to me, a final shivasana brought peace and truth that I have carried with me off my mat.
It's so easy to get caught up in this fast paced world, and yoga is an opportunity for me to slow my mind down and return to the present moment. Breathing in the present moment gives me clarity and the ability decipher truth from the self-sabatoging narratives my mind likes to play on repeat.
Rachel graduated from UW-Milwaukee with a Bachelor's in Kinesiology (Exercise Science) and a certificate in Complementary and Alternative Medicine. She has been practicing yoga regularly since 2016 and completed her 200 HR YTT at Soleil Lune Yoga Center.
