I attended the Beginner's Vinyasa on 1/18/20 and loved it! The staff was super friendly, the studio was comfortable and clean, and the class was challenging. The instructor passed around consent cards at the beginning of class for clients to put on their mats to indicate if you gave consent for the instructor to touch you/guide you for corrections during the class - I thought this was super thoughtful and speaks volumes about the studio and how much they care about their clients.
Yoga has been a part of my life for over 10 years. I love yoga because it really has something for everyone. Poses can be modified to meet you wherever your body is at today. I've learned it's important to be honest with yourself and truly listen to what your body is telling you.
My classes focus on body alignment and I strive to provide clear guidance for students. I hope my teaching inspires students to find a deeper understanding of how the flow of breath, movement, and poses can lead to a mindful connection. I like to encourage folks to think of their yoga practice as a moving meditation. My goal is to help students to be in the present and to experience themselves without judgement - even if just for a moment.
