Sound Method Yoga

I didn’t start yoga until 2018. I had no time, as I was spending 50 - 60 hrs a week at my job, stressed out of my mind... until I had a stroke. The silver lining is that a stroke makes you focus on what’s really important. While doing my physical and speech therapy, I decided to start attending yoga classes at my gym. Besides the physical benefits of exercise and therapy for parts of my body affected by the stroke, yoga forced me to slow down, relax, and think. Yoga was so good for my recovery and my new life, I wanted to teach and inspire those who are looking for balance in theirs. I received my RYT-200 from Sound Method Yoga in 2019. I love teaching because it allows me to give back what I have found so helpful in my life.Yoga helps me to feel strong and empowered when going through tough times. It also allows me to feel vulnerable and that it’s ok to ask for help. To me, yoga is awareness and truth. Being mindful on the mat carries out into everyday life. My intention for you in my class is to be present, open, and explore. I want you to leave feeling good - mind, body, and soul.
