Mandy created a comfortable environment for my introduction to yoga. I felt hopeful and confident to continue taking yoga instruction.
For more than 10 years, Melanie has utilized yoga to help stay
in the present moment. As a college student, she frequently turned
to her practice to work through harsh anxiety. She has found that
yoga, and the communities surrounding it, continue to help her get
outside of her own busy mind to find more moments of peace.
She hopes to create a centering environment for new students,
encouraging them to leave the stresses of the day at the door and
to fully immerse themselves in their practice. Melanie’s classes
focus on breathwork and form while adding occasional elements of
interpretive movement and strength-building. Her goal is to help
students find more inner and physical wellness in a challenging,
yet welcoming environment.
Outside of yoga, Melanie is a lover of art, weekend road trips, and
nature. She enjoys running, biking, dancing, and keeping her
exercise regimen fresh and full of new experiences. Melanie
recently completed her 200-hour certification with Sound Method
Yoga.
