I have enjoyed practicing the art of yoga for over 20 years. Yoga has allowed me to find the most clarity, joy, and serenity in my life. Since becoming a health care provider as a physical therapist assistant in 2000 and mother of two teenage girls, yoga has proven to consistently be the key in maintaining balance in an often busy and hectic schedule. After discovering a new passion for aerial yoga, I began teacher training at the CircuSoul studio in 2016. Since becoming a certified instructor, I have continued my training to include Aerial, Yin and Vedic Thai assisted asanas. Sharing my practice in a class or private session, I like to focus on alignment and being present while moving in a playful and fun way. I teach how to become aware of the subtle cues your body gives to prevent and heal injury on a physical or mental level. I love the challenge of finding creative options that allow my students to breathe more deeply and become more relaxed. Learning to let go of how we think a pose should look and focusing more on how the pose feels to each individual is my intention.
