Jerrod is a very knowledgeable teacher. He customizes each class on the fly according to what the students in the class need. He provides options and modifications to meet the needs of each student. As a fellow teacher, I can say this is much more difficult than coming with a class that was prepared in advance without knowing your audience/what specific issues they are dealing with. Yin Yoga is very challenging for some students because it requires the student to slow down and hold poses longer. In a world that is always moving, finding stillness can be difficult. There are so many benefits for the mind and body when we slow down. We have become human do-ings rather than human beings. I have found much personal benefit to learning how to just be. Highly recommend Jerrod, Yin Yoga and the Yoga Center of Steamboat.

Pam

Since earning a BS in Health Science Education from the University of Florida in 1988, Pamela has taught a wide range of health related topics in community and school settings. In 1994, as her interest in living holistically grew, she began her yoga practice. Pamela has united her passion for teaching and for yoga by completing two 200 hour yoga teacher trainings. The first with Inner Force Yoga with Sara Beth Force, whose lineage is Kripalu and the second with Scott Feinberg and Mary Veal through Kula Yoga Shala in Jupiter Florida. She combines meditation, pranayama and asana intending to open the body, allowing energy to flow and for the body to heal itself as it is so beautifully designed to do. Pamela cultivates an inner awareness throughout the practice facilitating the mind/body/breath connection. She welcomes all levels of practitioners to join her on a journey inward.
