I’ve been missing from yoga for a couple years now & am thrilled to be back with this wonderful studio. This morning’s online gentle yoga with Sarah was the most perfect re-introduction. Welcoming, easy to access, generous invitations and permissions to care for my own
body & breathing. So good to be back.
Melissa is co-founder of Source Yoga, and has been teaching since 2001. She finds that her yoga practice is an unfolding and cultivation of patience, compassion, and acceptance.
She teaches a fluid hatha yoga class focused on body awareness, breath, and self-compassion as a way to accept each moment as it is. You will leave her classes feeling nourished, relaxed, and rejuvenated.
She has a Masters degree in school counseling and is the counselor at Spinning elementary in the Puyallup school district. Additionally, she has a BA in Modern Dance, is a certified yoga instructor, and has lead both local and international retreats.
Melissa is deeply grateful to be a mother of two teenage boys, a wife to a supportive husband and enjoys the outdoors, snuggles from her two kitties and family time on Orcas island.
