body & breathing. So good to be back.
Perhaps the most profound aspect she adores about the study of yoga is how relevant this centuries-old discipline is with our lives today. Drawing on her background as a health professional, Christine creates classes that are rooted in the bio-mechanics of movement, along with the subtle power of pranayama, mindfulness meditation, and if grace allows, a sense of humor. She has had the honor of studying with many wonderful teachers, the most influential in her life being Theresa Elliott, Kathryn Payne, Judith Hanson Lasater, TKV Desikachar, and the humble teacher of her very first class, Kelly Blanchard. Her practice continues in cultivating a “beginner’s mind” through her yoga practice as she navigates motherhood, relationships, aging, and baking the perfect pie.
