Ahimsa and their lovely teachers is a real gem in the city! It is a warm, inviting space that is open and accepting to all levels of ability, whether you’re a beginner trying yoga out, or a well practiced yogi. It has a special place in my heart :)
Why do I love yoga? Because it is a comprehensive blend of free movement, physical conditioning, healthier breath and philosophy that may be practiced in an empowering way. But most of all, because it changed my life.
What can students expect to take away from your classes? In an active class, students can expect, vigour, humour and specificity. In a restorative class, they can expect to be guided towards greater stillness with creative language. Either way, be ready to delve into a theme you may take with you off the mat.
Why do I love to teach?I love movement. I love shared spaces. I love vulnerability. I want to contribute as a Challenger, a Caretaker and an Artist. I want us to reach our greatest potential.
How did you come to be a yoga teacher? Being a performance artist and having Yoga as an ally through many transformation, it was a natural step to start teaching. I want to offer others what Yoga has offered me.
