I love this class and have brought several guests along. Stephanie creates a class that caters to all levels, offering options  and props for the more advanced or the complete beginner. She takes pains to make everyone feel welcome and supported. It's a small class - usually between 4 - 8 people and for me it's been the perfect introduction to my yoga practice.

Everyone stands to benefit from the transformational power of yoga. It is with this strong belief that I welcome people of all ages, levels of practice and body types - the flexible and inflexible alike - to take a yoga class. Developing a yoga practice means learning about your body, about yourself and about ways of bringing a sense of peace to your life in the most challenging of times. The practice as a whole helps to build strength, flexibility and a sense of calm that remains long after one steps away from the yoga mat.

As a yoga teacher, my main objectives are to lead students in a safe practice, taking into account any injuries or limited ranges of motion; to lead students in an enjoyable practice, so that they will want to come to their mats again and again; and to lead students in developing a strong connection with the breath, so that they can use it to maintain a sense of peace and balance in their day-to-day lives. I strive to create a supportive, non-judgmental atmosphere for all. I enjoy teaching vigorous classes that are creative in their flow and a fun exploration of the practice; my detailed approach to teaching yoga also lends itself to leading beginner students as they are introduced to each pose.
