I've been taking classes since the end of January 2021 and the quality of my life has improved a hundred-fold. More energy and vitality - even during a pandemic. I'm very fortunate to have the time to do a yoga class as many times a week as I can manage. Often early in the day. I appreciate:
-- the skill and experience of Angela's flow classes with her imaginative flow movements and thoughtful insights;
--Cindy's Iyengar classes where she combines her knowledge with good humour and kindness;
--Lana's mindful hatha calm and slow-motion yin classes (and her beautiful singing/chanting voice;
--and Connie's detailed hatha classes with challenges and gifts.
These classes give me confidence that I am in good hands - though at a distance. While zoom classes lose the immediate feel of a room full of students practicing, no small loss, they open up the possibility for distance learning. And in the convenience of your home. I'm seventy now. I have learned when to modify poses and how my body's strengths and fragilities are enhanced through yoga. Since the 1970s, I have been praticing yoga of various traditions. So very delighted to have landed here at this time in my life when I have a few decades left to learn... With grateful thanks...
