Recently completed the beginners L1 series with Deborah, she is “AWESOME” learnt so much from her. So disappointed that I wasn't able to continue to L2 but, I will definitely try other classes in my spare time.
Yoga first appeared in Nisha’s life as a young child, as her grandparents taught her pranayama, mantras, and meditation. She also began her ten year training in Bharatanatyam, an ancient Indian temple dance that has many overlapping asanas with yoga. Through her unique exposure with her roots and heritage in yogic culture, she fell in love with her practice. She completed her yoga teacher training while living on an ashram in Rishikesh, India – the birthplace of yoga.
Her approach to yoga is holistic with equal significance given to body, mind, and spirit. Nisha is a trained reiki practitioner, which she incorporates into her restorative classes. Whether she is teaching an arm balance workshop or leading a meditation class, she meets students where they are in their practice.
Nisha is intuitive and empathetic, sensing what others need and offering them space to express themselves. Her wish is to create a nurturing environment for her students where they can find peace, balance, and a deeper awareness and appreciation for themselves
