Excellent Take Flight workshop this afternoon with David, really enjoyed it. Took us through a series of warm-ups concentrating on wrists, shoulders, ribs and hips - there’s a song there  - before moving on to various ways of getting in to crow and side crow. Some really ‘nasty’ leg lifts followed on to headstands, handstands and variations giving us the confidence to have a go using props if necessary. Hopefully this workshop will run again and I’ll definitely sign-up

Chessie

Chessie believes that we all need to make peace with who we are and to learn to love ourselves for who we truly are today. She encourages all students to find balance in the body to achieve peace in the mind. She teaches a variety of styles including Hot yoga, Rocket and Vinyasa flow.

Over the years Chessie has experienced first hand the benefits of how the practice of yoga can help heal you from emotional stress and trauma. From a young age she fought kidney failure leaving her feeling stressed and emotionally exhausted. It wasn't until Chessie discovered yoga that her perspective on life changed and taught her the joys of living in the moment. Chessie's intuition and passion for the practice of yoga and natural healing it brings, shines through her teachings. Her ethos is that yoga takes time but in time the body and mind will heal through the practice of asana, pranayama, meditation and spiritual leadings.

Chessie's wish is for all her students to feel happy and free from the stresses of the modern world in which we live.
