Michelle began practicing yoga three years ago to help find a way to deal with the stresses and anxiety of everyday life. Michelle practices yoga to let go, to let her mind and body connect through breath and movement. While she does a lot of strength training, yoga has helped Michelle be more conscious and aware of her body’s anatomy and alignment. Michelle believes many people have a preconceived notion of what yoga should be, but yoga is for everyone; as long as you have your breath, a willingness to get out of your comfort zone, and to open up to yourself.After practicing yoga for two years Michelle made the decision to become an instructor. In March of 2017, Michelle completed her 200-hour teacher training through EveryOne Yoga School at Be Love Yoga Studio in Tulsa, OK. Michelle will always be a student of yoga and is now excited to pass along the knowledge and wisdom of her teachers to help reach more people who want to connect with their mind and body.
